Strategies to Win a Soul for Christ
By Al Cialella
Fear is the biggest roadblock for not doing a lot of things in life.
As a child you’re given a bag of candy by mom and she tells you to share with the other children. Choices, choices, choices. Do you share this great candy with the other kids or not?
If you know where you could get gasoline for $.10 a gallon at a certain gas station and there is an endless supply…who would you tell? Why would you tell that person or persons?
Could it be because you love that person or like this other person and would like to do them a favor by saving them serious money on gasoline?
How often have you recommended a great restaurant, movie, vacation spot, or store $ale?
Now suppose you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. You’ve come to love the "sweet flavor" of His presence (like the bag of candy). You’ve come to truly appreciate how "inexpensive" having Jesus as your friend is (like the gasoline). You’ve come to appreciate the great "service" Jesus gives (like that great restaurant.)
Is Jesus worth sharing with mom, dad, siblings, kids, friends, family, or strangers? Are you doing it often?
Fear, lack of confidence, lack of knowledge, embarrassment, lack of time. Wow! No shortage of excuses there!
Everyone needs Jesus as his Lord and Savior. If you’ve got Him, you’re commanded to share a friend with a friend."
"I don’t know enough," you say. Well if you know Jesus in your heart, you have more knowledge in your baby fingernail than those without Christ have in their whole bodies.
Here are some tips I’d like you to consider.
Always start by telling that person how you came to know Jesus. Be concise and be detailed. Then, if they are still doubtful (like an agnostic or atheist) try the following question and strategies.
Q: Do you believe there is such a thing as ABSOLUTE truth?
A: No. All truth is relative. You have your truth, and I have mine.
Q: For a moment could you just pretend with me? Suppose there was such a thing as "absolute truth." If there was such a thing, could truth change or alter?
A: If there were absolute truth, truth would not change.
Q: Why not?
A: Because if it changed, it would no longer be true!
Now show the person John 14:6
Q: Would you please read this verse and let me know your opinion of what is being said?
A: Okay. Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one goes to the father except through me."
Q: Notice Jesus claims to be "The" truth. The word T-H-E is an exclusive word meaning the only one. He claims to be the -absolute- truth. Now either He’s crazy, a liar or He is the truth. We agreed that if there was such a thing as absolute truth that truth could not change and still be absolute truth. Please take a look at this. Hebrews 13:8.
A: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever," Hmm. Well.
Q: Jesus claims to be the absolute truth. No leader, religious or otherwise, has claimed to be the truth. This verse in Hebrews says Jesus does not, has not, and will not change. Is He worth your consideration? Is He someone you might consider checking into even to the point where He could be considered your friend?
A: I don’t know
Q: What do you think of this- John 3:16? Have the person read this verse.
Q: This says God "loved." Do you love anyone? Does anyone love you? How do you know?
A: I know by how I’m treated by that person.
Q: That’s the effect. Can you hand me this love you have for this person or this person has for you? I mean, actually put that love here in the palm of my hand so I can feel, touch and experience it?
A: I can’t do that.
Q: Let me see if I understand what you are saying. You believe in love, yet you cannot put it in my hand or show it to me, is that Right?
A: Yes.
Q: Then you believe in something you cannot see or prove exists- love?
A: Yes
Q: Where did love come from?
A: (God) or I don’t know.
Q: Can you read 1 John 4:8? Let the person read the verse
Who created love, marriage, and family?A: God?
Q: Yes. Wouldn’t it be a shame if you fell in love, got married, and didn’t have Jesus in the center of it all?
Q: If you died tonight, do you know where your soul would be? Would you like to know?
Simply ask God to forgive your sins, tell God you’re sorry, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save your soul. This is the only guarantee that your soul will be in heaven when you die and to begin an awesome friendship and relationship with the one who loves you more than any human being could ever love you.
That’s right. It’s all about love. I love you so much; I want to share my friend Jesus with you.
So you see men, here is a great strategy to share a friend with a friend. Now, there are no excuses for not telling someone about Jesus
Crucify the Flesh
From Men on WatchBy John Gouvalaris
It is the final confrontation of a man and his flesh. First if he listens to God for himself and crucifies the areas of ungoldy dominance in his own life, he will become that tree that is planted by the water and its roots are allowed to drink freely and freshly all the days of its life. Thus, the branches of that tree are allowed to grow out fully and spread to lodge the bird of the air and all the others that would desire to take up lodging there.
Men, the revelation God has given me is this. When David ran up to Goliath and killed him, and cut off his head, and showed it to the king, what happened to the rest of the people that followed him? They came to the forefront, didn’t they? They waxed bold and came out of their bondages. Men, hear the voice of God. When you cut your Goliath’s head off, so to speak, your family will start to come out of their bondage as well. Sickness will start to leave. Love will start to run forth throughout the house. Men, John the Baptist said it the best when he said that he must decrease so that God could increase. Jesus said unless a man is willing to die to the flesh, unless a seed falls in the ground and dies it cannot bring life.
Men, unless you allow God to speak to your hearts to change whatever area of life He is speaking to you about to change, all that is in the book will not work for you. Be real men called of God to face your Goliath’s and do not be afraid to do away with them so that your family may arise and go forward. I, personally, used to think life was bout what you could get, but God has shown me it is all about what you can give. Jesus broke Himself into many pieces as we take the bread of communion and gave His life to many. Let us follow His example.
CAM Men’s Health-O-Gram:
So you come to the doctor’s office to get your test results. He sits you in his examination room and you wait 30 minutes. Then he delivers the not-so-good news. You’re cholesterol is high. Now what do you do?
High cholesterol is anything that is above 200. You must first understand that there are two meanings of the word cholesterol. It can mean the cholesterol you eat or the cholesterol that is floating in your blood. They are different. The cholesterol in your blood is made of cholesterol from food plus fat like saturated fat. In fact, saturated fat has been found to raise cholesterol levels in the blood more than the cholesterol you eat.
When you have high cholesterol there are several things you can do. The first step to lowering your cholesterol is to cut the amount of fat in your diet. This means that butter, oil, fried foods, pastries and cakes, meats that have lots of fat on them, premium ice cream or ice cream with sauces or nuts, fast food, and certain cold cuts should be limited in the diet.
Second, eating more fiber can reduce cholesterol by removing it from the intestines and preventing its absorption. This can cause blood levels to decrease.
Finally, you’ve got to get off your can. That’s right- exercise. Not necessarily in a gym, but get out and do some physical activity like walking, running, biking, bowling, golfing or what ever you like to do.
Men tend to have a hard time with cholesterol and heart disease. You can take some simple steps to reduce your cholesterol. And if you already have a healthy cholesterol level, keep doing what works. You’ve got one ticker so keep it ticking.

A special prayer…
Dear Lord,
Help me to be the man you want me to be. To be strong and committed to you.
Deal with my heart, my mind, and my desires. May they always glorify you.
Purge my sins and rebuild my heart that I may serve you more.
Make me a better husband, father, son, and man of God.
In Jesus Blessed Name,
Amen.

… Do You Think MoneyGrows on Trees?! Here’s what we need!
So here’s the deal. We can’t keep doing it ourselves. We’re not made of money. We need you.
I really dislike when people preach about how they need more money for their ministry. So I guess I am going to dislike myself after I write this editorial.
I don’t know of any church or ministry that doesn’t need money to operate. Some churches spend money on great educational efforts and other ministries spend money on rallies.
We at Calling All Men use our money pretty simply. We use it for the radio show, newsletter and outreach to men. That’s it. We, the Board, make no money.
To keep this organization running we need $800 each month. We never get that, so each month is a struggle.
The Board often puts in extra unaccounted-for money just to sustain Calling All Men. I even pay out of my
own pocket to produce this newsletter.
Has the Lord been blessing you? Have you been blessed by Calling All Men?
If you answered yes to just one of those questions, you should be giving more to the Lord, and you can do that through this ministry.
Give as the Lord blesses you and you will be blessed.
We need your help. Give to the Lord’s work through Calling All Men.
